Blending a background of 20 years experience in theatre and an obsession with flowers, I’ve created a design studio that prioritizes storytelling and quality blooms to make every moment of your day feel that much more unique. Obsessing over every little detail to create something truly magical is our forte, and that starts with just a few questions.

She really took the time to understand our vision and brought amazing and personalized ideas and suggestions to the table, within budget. On the wedding day, her florals and decor absolutely blew me away — they were beyond what I could have imagined and truly exceeded my expectations. Ashlee even spent so much time the day before our wedding walking me through all our options for how to best care for our florals while still having the outdoor ceremony we dreamed of when severe weather was a possibility on our wedding day. I honestly don’t even know where to begin. I am going to start by saying how important it was for my husband and I to find vendors that were not only talented but kind and genuine people that truly care about their work. Ashlee was exactly that and so much more! She is truly such a beautiful person inside and out and her work was an absolute masterpiece! She was always available to give design input and she was always willing to go out of her way to make our day special. We got married during the summer season and she always made us feel like we were the only wedding that she was working to achieve their dreams even though she was super busy with all different weddings of different styles, she always made me and us feel like such a big priority! Every floral arrangement felt intentional, artistic, and deeply personal. The centerpieces throughout our wedding weekend were breathtaking, each thoughtfully designed with incredible creativity and attention to detail. Our chuppah was absolutely stunning and unlike anything I had ever seen. It was one of the most meaningful parts of our wedding, and Ashlee created something so unique and beautiful that it truly took our breath away. Every floral detail exceeded our expectations and was even more beautiful than we had dreamed. As I walked from room to room on our wedding day, I was completely speechless. I couldn't believe these incredible florals were ours, they transformed the entire space into something that felt magical. What truly sets Ashlee apart, though, is who she is as a person. She is warm, kind, patient, and incredibly thoughtful. Throughout the entire planning process, she made us feel heard, understood, and completely at ease. She poured her heart into every detail, was always available to answer our questions, and genuinely cared about making our wedding everything we hoped it would be. By the end of the process, it truly felt like we had gained a friend.

There truly aren’t enough kind words to summarize my experience with Thistledown Floral and Ashlee! I shopped around for florist because I don’t know much about flowers (what is in season and when, what would make good statement pieces, color schemes, etc.). When I spoke with Ashlee for the first time, she immediately made a vague description into a vision. She created a wonderful vision board that helped me even understand what it is I wanted. I referenced back to mood board she created endless times through wedding planning to match decor, dresses, ideas to the board. After hearing Ashlee’s kindness and confidence over the phone, I was sold. The contract and payment process was seamless and changes were handled all the way up to a few weeks out from the wedding. Now, onto the more fun part - Ashlee absolutely, positively hit the ball out of the park for every single piece of the day. She executed my dream flowers without a question. She came by to drop off our bouquets and made me feel so ready to walk down the aisle. We received endless compliments on the look of the flowers and Ashlee’s unique and beautiful touch. If you are lucky enough to find Thistledown/Ashlee, I could not recommend them more!

Book Ashlee as your florist…seriously, just do it! From my very first call with her, I knew she was the right choice. She listened to all my ideas (even when I was spitting them out a mile a minute!) and pulled together a mood board that captured my aesthetic perfectly. She worked within my budget to design stunning arrangements and jaw-dropping statement pieces that had guests complimenting the florals all night long. Ashlee’s passion shows in everything she does. She truly treats your wedding as if it’s the most important day. Just days before mine, she even reached out to ask if I wanted to swap in new candlestick holders she had just gotten—GAME CHANGER. That little detail elevated our tables to a whole new level. I cannot recommend Ashlee enough. She’s talented, thoughtful, and will make your wedding day florals unforgettable.
